Morocco and São Tomé and Príncipe game postponed
The Confederation of African Football responded favorably to the request for postponement made by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
Originally scheduled on September 2, the match between Morocco to the team of São Tomé and Príncipe for the qualification for the African Cup of Nations 2017 will finally take place on September 4th . The postponement of the match, to be played at Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat is due to the friendly game between the Moroccan national team and Albania in Tirana on August 31.
This decision, published on the Royal Moroccan Football Federation website (FRMF), was taken by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) who had received a request for the postponement by the Moroccan Football Royal Federation.
However, the match between Morocco and São Tomé and Príncipe is no issue because the Atlas Lions have been qualified at the end of the fourth round of following a 2-0 win over Cape Verde. The players of the french coach Herve Renard’s are top of Group F with 13 points.
