A Moroccan movie in the Arab Film Festival in Brazil
A Moroccan movie in the Arab Film Festival’s Competition in Brazil.
The 11th edition of the Festival of Arabic Cinema in Brazil will be held from August 10 to 28 in Sao Paulo. “Clay Men” directed by Mourad Boucif will be in the official competition and it will be screened at the opening of thisfestival. The story of the movie is about Sulayman, a young shepherd who was recruited by force in the French army, like all the other farmers of his village. The film shed the light on the brutality of certain events experienced by Moroccans during World War II, such as pushing simple young Moroccans to fight in a conflict that does not concern them.
