400 Moroccans join the Cegid Digital Day 2016
More than 400 experts from Morocco, France, Tunisia, Algeria, Senegal and Ivory Coast took part in Cegid Digital Day forum, held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Casablanca.
Cegid Digital Day 2016 was marked by the presence of Jean-Michel Aulas, founder and Chairman of Cegid and Patrick Bertrand, CEO of the group, but also by locals and individuals from other African countries.
The plenary of the forum were opened under the central theme “The challenges of the digital transformation.” An opportunity for stakeholders, Jean-Michel Aulas and Patrick Bertrand, to start work, recalling the importance of the digital dimension in emerging economies.
Morocco, like most African countries strongly represented in this forum, is in an emerging momentum, which requires the integration of digital technologies.
“The digital transformation is a must for the company. It contributes efficiently to its managerial efficiency, functional and therefore its competitiveness, “says Jean-Michel Aulas. For him, “globalization today imposes African businesses a new way of thinking which must be based on the performance of their tools and their effectiveness.”
The workshops Cegid Digital Day forum enabled participants to explore practical way the different trends, solutions, applications, instructions and operation of digital technologies in different sectors of the economy, public administration at retail, through the industry, human resources, finance, taxation, business management or business management.
