King Extends Condolences to Egypt over EgyptAir Plane Crash
Rabat – HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to Egyptian president Abdel Fattah Al Sissi over the crash in the Mediterranean of an EgyptAir plane operating flights between Paris and Cairo, claiming the lives of several victims.
In this message, the sovereign said he was deeply moved and saddened because of the crash news.
In these painful circumstances, HM the King extends to president Al Sissi and the friendly Egyptian people, his heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion, praying the Almighty to give the victims’ families patience and comfort.
Search crews located the data recorders for EgyptAir Flight 804 close to an area where human remains and debris from the crashed flight have been found.
Egyptian media, including state media, were reporting the same development.
Late Saturday, a U.S. intelligence source confirmed the data recorders, commonly known as black boxes, have been approximately located by their pings and that recovery efforts were underway.
